The Old Chapel B&B
Cornwall PL22 0RP
If you are using a Sat Nav enter our postcode PL22 0RP.
We are an easy to find location without the need to negotiate Cornwall’s narrow lanes after a long journey from home, lying three miles east of Lostwithiel in the village of West Taphouse.
If you are coming from the east, you can enter Cornwall by the A30 or the A38. If you choose the former, leave the A30 at Bodmin and follow signs to Lostwithiel. Once in the town, turn left onto the A390 and after three miles you will reach West Taphouse. The Old Chapel is the last property on the left.
Coming via the A38 you will cross the Tamar Bridge and should then keep on the road for about 15 miles before reaching Dobwalls. At traffic lights in the village turn left onto the A390 (Signposted St Austell) and go through East Taphouse and then Middle Taphouse. You will see The Old Chapel as the first property on the right as you enter West Taphouse.
The Old Chapel is perfectly situated for touring the beautiful county of Cornwall and is ideal if you are attending a wedding at the beautiful Boconnoc House, which is just a few minutes away. We are also well situated for a number of National Trust properties, including Lanhydrock House and Cotehele, near Saltash. Our local town of Lostwithiel has some terrific restaurants and pubs, with something to suit everyone.
We have ample parking and will be pleased to offer you a reviving pot of tea or coffee upon your arrival.
We are looking forward to seeing you.
